The Development Office is responsible for the Anderson School of Management's private fundraising efforts to further advance its mission, goals and objectives. Its staff actively solicits, stewards and distributes private contributions through the generosity of alumni, friends, corporate and foundation partners. The office also partners with faculty and staff to support the launching of innovative educational programs, support academic research and teaching, create student scholarships and fill gaps left by shortfalls in other funding sources. Additionally, it raises funds in support of capital and operating budget support. The office works to build key relationships between current students, alumni and friends of the university to ensure a lasting connection to, and support of, the mission of the Anderson School of Management.
The Development Office also serves as a key link between Anderson School and UNM's central development office known as the UNM Foundation. It works closely with the Dean's Office and serves as a liaison between the Anderson School and the Anderson School of Management Foundation Board and National Advisory Board.
Anderson's Development Office will partner with faculty and staff when appropriate to develop and submit written grant proposals in support of initiatives deemed consistent with the goals and objectives outlined by the administration.
